Keadron Higgs is a
professional violinist and instructor in Richmond, Virginia.
She began learning the violin at age 7 and trained for ten years under Deborah Spinosa of the
Phoenix Symphony and Eugene Lombardi, former concertmaster of the
Phoenix Symphony.
Keadron has more than 28 years years of
combined teaching and performance experience and has been a member of numerous
regional and state orchestras, usually holding the position of
concertmaster. She is the former concertmaster of the
Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra, leader of
La Dolce Musica
Ensembles, and member of Albafeire.
Keadron has
performed on many occasions with members of the Richmond Symphony
and Williamsburg Symphonia and as a violinist in a number of professional
theater productions, including Theatre IV's 'Sing Down the Moon',
Barksdale Theater's 'The Dead', and Dogwood Dell's 'The Robber
Bridegroom'. In addition to being a gifted classical violinist, she is
an accomplished harpist and pianist.
Keadron is available for
private violin instruction, offering
lessons in classical violin from age five for children and adults.
